Celebrated Chef, Daryl Richards Offers Delectable Selections for Sedona Taste and Dine in Sedona Week
SEDONA, Ariz. – (May XX, 2011) – The Grille at ShadowRock, signature restaurant at Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa, features special gastronomic offerings for Sedona Taste and Dine in Sedona Restaurant Week. The culinary events will highlight Red-Rock Country’s exceptional chefs and restaurants. Sedona Taste will take place at Los Abrigados Resort & Spa on June 12, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. with proceeds benefiting The Boys and Girls Club of Northern Arizona. Dine is Sedona Week will begin June 11 and run through June 26 with a number of local restaurants offering specially priced pre-fixe menus.
“While it is renowned for natural beauty, Sedona is also a sensational culinary destination,” said Daryl Richards, executive chef at Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa. “My team at The Grille at ShadowRock and I are thrilled to offer visitors a taste of Sedona during the upcoming culinary events.”
For Sedona Taste, Chef Richards created a special chilled seafood Ceviche Trio featuring sea bass, rock shrimp and diver scallops. This clean and refreshing dish is ideal for a relaxing summer afternoon event on the banks of Oak Creek. For the pre-fixe Dine in Sedona Week menu, Chef Richards selected some of the restaurant’s most popular offerings including Shadowrock Salad with Ricotta Salata, Mixed Olive and Spanish Pepper Vinaigrette and Red Trout served with Baby Potatoes and Garlic Sautéed. He also created new items exclusively for this event, such as the Yellow Tomato Gazpacho with Fresh Basil and Lemon Cascabel Cream. The Dine in Sedona week menu with a selection of three courses is priced at $29.95 per person.
The Grille at ShadowRock features a Southwestern menu offering fresh regional fare for breakfast, lunch or dinner. The decor inside Grille at ShadowRock is ruggedly handsome with earth tones, wrought iron and soft lighting. Outdoor fireside patio dining boasts stunning views of the lush fairways of the property’s championship golf course and beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona. Located within the restaurant, the ShadowRock Bar offers a selection of food and refreshments including small-batch tequilas and vintage wines.
